The researcher implemented all original and expanded plans involving this research. The researcher investigated many aspects of tourism impacts, including the cognitive (economic, environmental, and sociocultural) and affective impacts. They examined the issues not only in Japan but also in Vietnam to diversify the observations. The researcher summarized the findings and their implications for teaching tourism students and presented them at a 2023 international conference.
