Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1. We provided a general platform to engineer vesicular nanodevices with tunable permeability without trade-offs between structural integrity, flexibility, and functionality by integrating stimuli-responsive linkers into crosslinking membrane networks. 2. We found that glucose oxidase-loaded PICsomes could induce an immunostimulatory form of cell death (pyroptosis), which has the great potential for priming anti-tumor immunotherapy and opens new avenues for using GOD-loaded nanocarriers as a cancer treatment modality.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The method to engineer vesicular nanoreactor already has been confirmed. The in vitro proof-of-concept therapeutic investigation also has been proved.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
1. Preparation of glucose oxidase and lactate oxidase co-loaded nanoreactor and in vitro therapeutic investigation. 2. In vivo therapeutic investigation.
