水素錯イオンの高速擬回転に伴う低温副格子融解を利用した革新的固体イオニクスの創成

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

合成装置の改良ならびに放射光X線を用いた高温高圧合成過程その場観察技術の援用により、理論予測にもとづいて合成に成功した水素9配位の錯イオンを含む物質群の高純度試料合成に取り組んだ。各種物性測定に耐えうるまで不純物の混入を抑えた試料を用いた中性子準弾性実験では、擬回転の直接観測には至らなかったものの、150Kから室温に至る広い温度範囲にて、水素錯イオンの自由回転運動を示す準弾性散乱成分の観測に成功するなど、研究構想の妥当性を支持する結果を得た。また、改良した装置を用い、マグネシウムを陽イオンとする新たな高水素配位錯体水素化物の合成にも成功した。

Reason

装置改良により、従来よりも高純度の試料合成が可能となったことに加え、多価イオン伝導への展開も見込める新たな高水素配位錯体水素化物の合成にも成功していることなどからおおむね順調に進展していると判断した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2021年度は、改良した装置を用いた高純度試料合成を進め、より高分解能の装置を利用した中性子準弾性散乱実験による擬回転の直接観測に挑むとともに、新たに合成に成功したマグネシウム系高水素配位錯体水素化物を足掛かりとした多価イオン伝導への研究展開を進める。
