Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、化学的量子状態間の転移に関する理論と実験の進展を目指すものであった。具体的には、外部要素の変化によって状態Aから状態Bに変化する化学状態の転移を詳細に観察し、そのダイナミクスを理論的に解明することを目指した。本研究では、プラトニックミセルと多糖核酸複合体系を対象とし、これらの化学的量子状態間の転移を詳細に調査した。プラトニックミセルの形成ダイナミクスについては、時間分解放射光X線散乱法を用いて詳細に調査し、ミセル形成の時間依存性を明らかにした。また、塩濃度や温度の変化による影響も観察した。さらには、ミセルの形成過程に関する理論モデルを構築し、ユニマー交換やミセル融合を考慮に入れた動力学モデルを提案した。一方、多糖核酸複合体系についても同様の方法で調査を行い、DNAの2重鎖の鎖交換反応を中心に観察した。その結果、DNAの塩基数に応じて結合する多糖の長さが存在することを発見した。さらに、アクリル酸のラジカル重合において、特殊な溶媒で沈殿重合を行うと、極めて分布がせまい粒子が形成することを見出した。
