Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Difficulty in social communications and behaviors are one of the main symptoms of developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In this study, we compare gene expressions in several model mice to identify biomarkers of social behavioral problems. We identified multiple genes common to multiple model mice, including mice exposed to environmental chemicals. Interspecies comparisons between animals and humans were also conducted, and genes suggesting a correlation were identified.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
