Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The synthesis of the new target has been achieved with the formation of the amphiphilic molecular motor functionalized with a chemical tag. As tag, we derivatized a rhodamine fragment to be able to be attached to the amhiphilic motor. Many attempts and catalytic systems where tested because the reactivity of the motor was drastically changed due to the presence of the long alkyl chains. The coupling reaction is now efficient and the target hybrid molecular motor was obtained and fully characterized including its emission properties.
