Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Utility of AAV-based in vivo gene transduction for the reconstruction of localized soft tissue expansion was confirmed. For the further development towards strong, safety, and controllable therapeutic intervention, new chemical materials are experimentally tested. A new AAV capsid for enhanced in vivo gene transduction to adipose tissue are also developed. The findings pave a way for development of clinically useful soft tissue regeneration/ reconstruction therapies.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
