Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Hair cortisol, a possible chronic stress biomaker, was related to psychological fatigue levels, psychological stress changes, and changes in cognitive function related to the prefrontal cortex. These results suggest that hair cortisol may serve as a biomarker for chronic stress-induced cognitive decline (cognitive fatigue). In today's society, which is tormented by many stressors, hair cortisol has the potential to be used as a measure for the prevention of cognitive fatigue.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
