Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は「人間が別の人間の環境リスク源になる」という喫煙の特徴に着目し,それを定量的に評価しうる「環境・人間動態モニタ」の開発が目的である。「人から人へのリスク」は昨今急激に懸念が増したエアロゾル感染にも共通し,新しい観点でのリスク評価の重要性も増している。本年度は,「環境・人間動態モニタ」の核心技術である人間動態センサについて,前年度に残されたバックグラウンド情報に関する課題を検討するため作業停電時と人のいない深夜を含む屋内空間の人間動態観測実験を実施し,ほぼすべてのWi-Fi接続信号が人間動態に由来することと,したがって人間動態と一致しない信号数の変動が人間の所持するネットワーク端末からのWi-Fi接続信号発信特性に由来することを明らかにした。また,より広範囲(メソスケール)な空気(大気)環境と人間動態の相関を,測定局の大気モニタリングデータと携帯電話基地局情報を利用した推定人口に基づく新たな手法の可能性を検討した結果,道路交通のみならず,飲食店での調理も屋外大気環境に影響を及ぼしており,2km以内の2地点間でも,人間動態と大気環境の関係に明確な違いが見られたことから,本手法が500m単位のメソスケールにおいて有効であり,100m超まで観測する人間動態モニタとシームレスに運用することで,幅広いスケールの人間動態と大気環境の関係を検討できる可能性が示された。一方,当初予定していた屋外観測実験が新型コロナ感染症の影響で実施する許可を得ることができなかったため,喫煙者と非喫煙者の動線を例としたリスク評価の実証試験は実施できなかった。本助成研究で整備した機材と知見に基づき,引き続き検討を実施する予定である。
