| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
My research targets for the AY2021 (April 2021 - March 2022) were
[1] to conduct a baseline survey and intervention in Vietnam
[2] to get one publication at SSCI journal with impact factor
[3] to prepare for a follow-up survey in AY2022
In general, these targets were completed.
The baseline survey was conducted from October to November 2021. After that, the intervention was carried out in December 2021. The follow-up survey will be conducted in October 2022. Our partner in Vietnam was Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF). In addition, I successfully got one publication in "Economic Analysis and Policy" (SSCI journal, Q2 in Economics).

Reason
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the baseline survey and intervention were postponed from AY2020 to AY2021. Therefore, the follow-up survey were delayed to AY2022.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In this academic year (April 2022-March 2023), my research targets are
[1] to conduct a follow-up survey in Vietnam
[2] to attend an international conference
[3] to submit a manuscript to a SSCI journal with impact factor
I will conduct a follow-up survey in October 2022. Data analysis will be completed by December 2022. After that, I will submit a manuscript to an international conference and to a SSCI journal by February 2022.

| Causes of Carryover |
Due to covid-19, the baseline survey and intervention were postponed from AY2020 to AY2021. As a result, the follow-up survey must be delayed to AY2022. The remaining budget will be mainly used for conducting follow-up household survey.
