ノンコリニア反強磁性体のスピントルク誘起ダイナミクスの解明とその応用

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

前年度ではノンコリニア反強磁性体/重金属のヘテロ構造を作製し、スピン軌道トルクによる反強磁性体のスピン構造の回転を観測した。本年度(2021年度)では反強磁性体に作用するスピン軌道トルクの定量的評価を実現するとともに、その作用機構を明らかにした(国際学会2022 Joint MMM-Intermagにて発表)。また、ノンコリニア反強磁性体Mn3Snのエピタキシャル薄膜において、その量子効果である異常ホール効果のMn組成、アニール温度、測定温度依存性を調べた。本研究によってノンコリニア反強磁性体の異常ホール効果の生成因子を明らかにするとともに、Mn3Snのスピン構造が熱処理温度・組成によって変化することを発見し、効果的に異常ホール抵抗を増大する手法を開発した。本研究で得られた成果を学術論文AIP Advancesに投稿し、採択・出版された。本年度ではさらに、ノンコリニア反強磁性体Mn3Sn薄膜の磁気光学カー効果を調べた。ノンコリニア反強磁性体の磁気光学カー効果が異常ホール効果と同じ起源をもつことを実験的に確認するとともに、加えてカー効果を使った磁気イメージングによって、ノンコリニア反強磁性体のカイラルスピン構造が特異な反転過程を経ていることがわかった。当該の成果はApplied Physics Lettersに投稿・採択されている。本研究成果によって高効率な磁気秩序の電気的制御や新規スピントロニクスデバイスへの展開が期待される。
