Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は建築解体時に発生するアスベストの飛散と空気中濃度を必要十分な工学精度で予測した上で,アスベストの経気道曝露に伴う短期・長期の健康影響を定
量的に評価するための数値気道モデルを開発する.2023年度は研究計画に従い,非球形アスベスト繊維の回転効果を陽的モデル化したLagrange解析法を実装し,上気道から下気道まで含めた非球形アスベスト繊維の不均一沈着分布,上気道・下気道通過確率を解析した.また,研究実施期間(4 年間)全体を通じて,具体的に以下の研究成果を得た.
(1)アスベストを対象とした気道曝露研究に特化した鼻腔・口腔から気管支第16分岐までの幾何形状と粘液輸送クリアランスを再現した数値気道モデルを開発し,(2)アスベスト(非球形)繊維状形状の特徴を再現した並進・回転運動を考慮したLagrange輸送モデルを開発し,汎用CFD解析ソフトに実装した.(3)この数値気道モデルを人体幾何形状と生理メカニズムを再現した数値人体モデルに統合することで室内環境中でのアスベスト発生から気道曝露までをシームレスに解析する一連の数値解析モデルを構築した.(4)in vivoならびにin vitroデータと比較することで,アスベスト繊維の気道内沈着分布までは精度良く解析が可能となることを確認した.
