Research Abstract |
We found that angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE) converts Aβ42 to Aβ40 and that angiotensin II receptor mediates metabolism of Alzheimer disease-related molecules. This study was designed to clarify the involvement of renin-angiotensin system in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease.
