Research Abstract |
This paper reports the development of software to self-study Japanese prosody using an automatic speech recognition system. The system uses an automatic speech recognition engine called Ami Voice developed by Advanced Media, Inc. The program is capable of diagnosing both segmentals and prosodies and providing easy-to understand visual feedback.
