Research Abstract |
Micro pattern gas detector has became more popular than wire chamber in the charged particle detection. This movement request us to improve corresponding readout system which allow more precise detection. We develop a new pixel readout CMOS chip which consists of 20x20 pixels including ADC, TDC and TOT digital processing in each 200μm x 200μm pixel. Heavy ion irradiation with MPGD amplification provides clean track signal and good spatial resolution better than 100microns.
