密度汎関数アプローチによる全核種精密計算

Research Abstract

今年度は以下の研究において大きな成果を上げることができた。まずは、密度汎関数理論を用いた線形応答計算について、有限振幅法の新たな展開を進めた。これまでの反復法による解法だけでなく、行列を構成して対角化する方法を開発した。また、前年度に行った低エネルギー電気双極子(E1)強度分布の系統的な計算から、中性子スキン厚、原子核対称エネルギー等との関連を精査した。その結果、球形の中性子過剰核における低エネルギーE1強度分布の観測から、これらの直接観測が困難な物理量に対して強い制限を付けることが可能であることを示唆した。正準座標表示の実時間発展計算においても同様の結果を得ている。また、酸素、ネオン、マグネシウム、シリコン等のアイソトープの基底状態における核子密度分布を密度汎関数計算によって計算し、それを用いてグラウバー模型によって全反応断面積を予言した。ネオンのアイソトープにおいては、最近得られた実験データを良く再現し、より重いアイソトープについて、反応断面積が特定の中性子数において著しく増加することを示唆した。
線形領域を超えた大振幅の集団運動に対しては、5次元の集団ハミルトニアンの微視的構築を行い、クロムのアイソトープにおいて、中性子数40前後で観測されている形状相転移現象について理論解析した。その結果、これらのアイソトープにおいては、原子核の形が非常に強く揺らいでおり、この形状ゆらぎの効果が実験データを理解する上においても重要であることを示した。また、重い原子核の核分裂の微視的記述に向けたテスト計算をスタートさせた。
今年度は本研究計画の最終年度にあたり、論文への成果発表を進めた。既に論文として掲載が決定したもの以外に、現在3本の論文を投稿中、あるいは執筆中である。
