腕足動物殻の同位体組成の研究ー顕生代海洋炭素・酸素同位体変動の解明のためにー

Research Abstract

本年度は,以下の研究成果が得られた.
1.粟国島沖採取された現生腕足動物Campagea japonicaの炭素・酸素同位体組成
1)C.japonicaの殻のδ^<13>Cとδ^<18>Oは,全てのseriesにおいて値が比較的狭い範囲に収まり,CJ-Ontのδ^<18>Oには年周期がみられない.
2)殻のδ^<13>CはCJ-Ontの殻頂部分が,δ^<18>OについてはCJ-Inの先端部分がそれぞれ同位体平衡下で形成されており,両部分が古環境復元に適した部位である.
2.沖縄沖より採取された現生腕足動物Basiliola lucidaの炭素・酸素同位体組成の個体差
1)BL-Ontのδ^<13>Cとδ^<18>Oは,全ての個体について値が比較的狭い範囲に収まり,δ^<18>Oに年周期はみられない.
2)^<14>C年代が"現在"と"それ以前(1804 cal BP～5 cal BP)"の個体とでは,BL-Ontのδ^<13>Cが異なり,前者の大部分はδ^<13>C_<EC>の範囲に収まった.両者のδ^<13>Cの違いは,Suess効果の影響であると考えられる.
3)B.lucidaの殻形成時の反応速度論的同位体効果には個体差が認められる.
大槌湾より採取された現生腕足動物Terbratulina crosseiの炭素・酸素同位体組成の個体差
1)TCr-Ontのd^<13>Cは,全ての個体において,δ^<13>C_<EC>よりも低い値を示した.一方,TCr-Inのδ^<13>Cは,δ^<13>C_<EC>の範囲にあるか,それよりも低い値を示した.
2)TCr-Ontのδ^<18>Oは,大部分がδ^<18>O_<EC>の範囲に収まった.T.crosseiの殻は,多くの場合,海水温の低い時期に周囲の海水と酸素同位体平衡下で形成されるのに対し,海水温の高い時期は非平衡下(δ^<18>O_<EC>よりも重いδ^<18>O)で形成される.
3)T.crosseiの殻形成時の反応速度論的同位体効果には個体差が認められる.
