Research Abstract |
We have successfully generated a highly active actinomycete vitamin D hyroxylase to produce 3 hydroxylated forms of vitamin D which have potent biological activities based on its tertiary structure. In addition, we have successfully synthesized novel vitamin D analogues which show a potent anti-cancer activity and a remarkable metabolism-resistance in vivo.
