Research Abstract |
In order to develop methods to estimate the carrying capacity of commercially important coastal fish nursery grounds, we built two models based on field data important to the production of temperate sea bass and Japanese flounder juveniles. We examined the ecosystem for hydrodynamics, nutrients, primary and secondary production in the Yura River Estuary and Tango Sound and built a hydrodynamics-primary production model (Delft3D) and an ecosystem model (Ecopath)
