Research Abstract |
We found that loss of MHC II ubiquitination induces Fas-mediated apoptosis of dendritic cells through the recognition by Tregs. Given that MHC II ubiquitination is promptly inhibited by several activation signals, our results suggest that loss of MHC II ubiquitination prevents excessive immune responses(i. e. autoimmunity).
