Research Abstract |
Pioglitazone attenuates intimal hyperplasia of the vein graft after autologous bypass grafting by its ability to suppress cell proliferation and enhance apoptosis. Pioglitazone could represent a therapeutic target for the prevention of graft failure after bypass grafting.
