Research Abstract |
The damage of flood occurs every year in various countries of the world, especially in Bangladesh and Japan. This study aims at creating a new type of water environmental society in 21st century to reduce the damage of the flood at the minimum. I surveyedfollowing four points. 1) documenting the daily life of flood affected areas in Bangladesh 2) the trinity way of making water environment: preventing flood, utilizing water and enjoying flood. 3) helping the socially vulnerable people such as pagan, women, aged, poor, and 4) mutual learning of the anti-flood measure among the countries: Bangladesh and Japan and Germany.
