Research Abstract

[1]高層気象観測
a)プレモンスーン期観測:4月22日～5月12日の期間を中心に、Sylhet,Dhaka,Bograにおける高層気象観測を行った。SAARC気象研究所の主催するSTORM2010観測プロジェクトの実施・および協力関係を確立し、データの共同利用が可能となった。1日3回(06,09,12UTC)あるいは2回(06,12UTC),3地点同時観測を基本とした。観測はSTORM2010観測プロジェクトにおけるIOP日に重点的に、のべ13日間にわたって行った。前後のSTORM観測期間中のDhaka,Bograにおけるデータも合わせて入手し、解析に利用した。特に2010年4月25日のケースについて、学会誌に成果を発表した。
b)モンスーン期観測:8月1日～3日の期間について、Sylhet,Dhakaにおける高層気象観測を行った。00,06,12,18UTCの1日4回同時観測を1日。1日4回のDhaka観測を2日実施した。より多くの観測を予定していたが、ダッカ電源事情の悪化に伴って、1日多数回の観測を長期間支える水素生成が不可能であることが7月に確認されたため、急きょ10回分の観測の実施をH23年5月に繰り延べ実施した。
[2]数値モデル実験:数値モデルを用いた再現実験へむけた環境整備を行った。
[3]レーダー観測:8月渡航時にレーダー観測データを取得し、解析に用いた。
[4]降水同位体観測:1日8回の降水量観測時のサンプル取得を依頼、Dhaka,Sylhet,Chittagongの3地点について、2010年3月頃から11月頃までの暖候期のデータを取得した。
[5]自動気象観測装置・雨量計の整備とデータ取得:我々の気象グループで維持管理している気象観測装置と雨量計のメンテナンスとデータ回収を行った。データを整理し、共同研究者間でウェブページを通じたデータ共有を行った。
