| Research Abstract |
Sonodynamic therapy, the ultrasound dependent enhancement of cytotoxic activities of certain compounds(sonosensitizers) in studies with cells in vitro and in tumor bearing animals. In this study, we describes a bifunctional agents that combine two modalities into a single cost容ffective" see and treat" approach, namely, a single agent that can be used for contrast agent-enhanced ultrasonographic imaging followed by targeted sonodynamic therapy.
