Research Abstract	Based on a preliminary investigation, we analyzed about 730 elderly peoplein Sumida City of TMG. 98% of respondents wanted to live continuouslyin Sumida City. We also analyzed each people who wanted to live their own home continuously, people who wanted to move other places in Sumida City and people who wanted to move to other cities about housing needs and life style needs. It is necessary to take measures private rented housing, provision of earthquake disaster and housing deterioration in addition to financial support and health support. We recommended a "Sumida Style of Local Housing Support System" that public sector and private sector cooperate with each other.
