| Research Abstract |
We have paid attention to the mechanism of cross-cultural impact and collision caused by" boundary movement" among numerous minority people against a dominant culture both by analysis of English-American literature and of Japanese-English languages. We have therefore focused on the correlations of" cultural changes" and multiplicity of identities as a result of" boundary movement." We thus attribute the orientation of multicultural coexistence to minority culture in" the margins."
