| Research Abstract |
We carried out an investigation involving many participants concerning the basic elements of dialect in Miyazaki city, Nobeoka city, and Miyakonojo city. In addition, we carried out a detailed investigation of the grammar phenomena in these cities. We described the present situation and analyzed the mechanism of language change in Miyazaki Dialect. We created a database to analyze relations between dialect use and dialect speakers' personality.
