Research Abstract |
We point out the importance of pion(Yukawa particle) in nuclear structure and establish a theoretical method to treat the pion in nucleus. Pion exchange interaction contains a strong tensor interaction and we used the tensor optimized shell model for its quantitative description. We arrived at a new theory, which includes the standard Brueckner theory. We are calculating finite nuclei in the new framework.
