Research Abstract |
A hypothesis that localizations of axon guidance molecules and their receptors cause variability of neural networks is proposed. However, the molecular mechanisms are largely unknown. By using a model organism C. elegans, we found molecules that regulate localization of an axon guidance molecule UNC-6/Netrin and its receptor UNC-5.
