Research Abstract |
We performed a functional analysis of Fanconi anemia gene FANCD2.Previously studies reported that FANCD2 functions in DNA repair. However, we found that FANCD2 also involves in transcriptional regulation of TNF-α gene through binding to its promoter region, which resulted in enhanced TNF-αmRNA level in FANCD2 deficient cells.
