Research Abstract

We analyzed the glomerular lesion induced by chronic hypoxia in db/db mice. Hypoxia-associated glomerular injury may result from the increased macrophage infiltration via monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1), but not from vascular endothelial growth factor-A(VEGF-A).
