Research Abstract |
We developed a systematic assessment method for clinical reasoning ability using case presentation used in case conferences every day. After teachers used this method to medical students and residents, they felt training quality was improved. Validity is partly proved because residents marked higher score than medical students. If a resident is assessed by approximately 30 teachers, measurement error becomes small enough to make summative decision.
