Research Abstract |
We designed this study to reveal a protein network in diffuse interstitial lung disease by a proteomic analysis of tissue sample, which was selectively collected using laser micro dissection. We modified protein-processing method of paraffin embedded sample prior to mass spectrometer ; however, we could detect only major protein such as keratin and albumin so far, because amount of protein in the dissected sample was extremely small. We need to change our method and use new technology in the future to increase sensitivity, which is enough for a comprehensive analysis of very small sample.
