Research Abstract

We investigated quantitative cerebral perfusion and oxygen metabolism measurement and neuro-inflammation imaging in the rat model of brain ischemia using an original integrated PET/ MR system. By the simultaneous scanning of PET and MR images, PET findings were accurately comparable with the infarcted areas on MR T_2-weighted images.
