Research Abstract |
We examined functional analysis of biliary epithelial cell-specific miRNAs in a human intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma cell line(HuCCT1). We identified a growth factor receptor binding protein(GRB), which is implicated in tyrosine kinase signal transduction, as a biliary epithelial cell-specific miRNA target. It is likely that upregulation of the GRB protein by downregulation of the biliary epithelial cell-specific miRNAs contributes to motility in HuCCT1.
