Research Abstract |
Streptoococcus pyogenes and nontypeable Haemphyrus influenzae are important causative pathogens of upper respiratory infectious disease. To examine the internalization of these pathogens into human epithelial cells, we investigate the gene that may cause the internalization. We detected 12. 0% of sil gene in non-invasive infection and 17. 7% in invasive infection.
