| Research Abstract |
Okinawa prefecture is a place that experiences the rapid changes of life style, dietary environment and environmental pollution. As the result, many problems have been apparent in Okinawa prefecture. We focused on the problem about the relation of the environmental changes and obesity and allergic disease among the children in Okinawa prefecture after the return to Japan 40 years ago. The result showed that in the factor which showed urbanization, the incidence of children with allergic condition, asthma, atopic dermatitis, and children with obesity was significantly high. On the contrary there was no result which showed the opposite tendency.
