I have studied on activities on ethical, legal and social activities conducted by biomedical research projects in Japan and worldwide. Their functions and organizations are various and depend on annual budget and direction by sponsors and principal investigators. A few cases accept external evaluation and quality control. Minimum requirement for ELSI activities could be recommended.
