Research Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to construct an employer-employee matched data on the Japanese labor market and investigate in the effect of employers' attribute on wage equations. As results, we find a significant role of efficiency wage mechanism to explain the transition of wage differentials in recent Japan. We also documented the current situation of employer-employee matched data in Denmark, Netherland, Germany and Sweden.
