Research Abstract |
We have studied on site-fidelity and homing behavior of coastal fish with information and communication technology. In this study, the acoustic high-resolution positioning telemetry system(AUSOMS Ver. 3) has been developed. Our studies on the coastal fish behaviors demonstrated that they showed the site-fidelity and homing behavior using tidal current, landmarks on sea-bottom, and individuals.
