Research Abstract |
Myelination is important for rapid electric signal transduction in neural circuit formation. To analyze the mechanism of activity-dependent myelination we examined using optic nerve. Effective sparse labeling of oligodendrocyte was observed. Additionally a mouse line enable to manipulate gene expression in mature oligodendrocyte was generated.
