予期‐遂行‐評価の脳機能とTMSによるパフォーマンス改善効果

Research Abstract

昨年度の15名を対象とした脳波・パフォーマンス検討において,誤反応での反応時間延長,ならびに客観的正誤によらず被験者の主権的な自信がパフォーマンスならびにフィードバックエラー関連電位(fERN)の増大(p<.01)に関係したこと.および震源地推定においても先行研究に加え,申請者のこれまでの結果を支持したことから,最終年度である本年度は昨年度に引き続き,TMS-EEGによる詳細検討をおこなった.
本年度のTMS-EEG検討では被験者20名を対象として,脳波・パフォーマンス実験で得られた刺激部位をTMS適応対象として時間評価課題を用いた検討を行った.被験者は,キュー刺激呈示後に主観的に2秒と感じた時点でボタン押しを実施し,実際の2秒との差異に関するフィードバック情報を受け取った.このフィードバック呈示時点で,TMSが50%の確率で被験者に与えられた.尚,TMS適応部位はFzおよびCz'とした.その結果,刺激部位に関わらずエラー後の次試行で,正解後に比べてエラーが増加したことに加え,Fz刺激後に僅かに増加する傾向も認められた.一方,反応時間には変化が認められなかった.脳波検討ではfERNのピーク振幅には差異が認められなかったものの,fERNピーク潜時がFz刺激時に遅延した.本年度の結果,および昨年度の少数被験者での検討結果から,TMSによってエラーモニタリングに関与する内側前島皮質の活動が抑制され,パフォーマンスが変動することが示された.本結果は,これまで疾病等で示されていた関与可能性を明確化したものであり,その意義は大きいものと考えられる.
