Research Abstract |
The construction of micrometer-sized(cell-sized) reaction systems was achieved using microfluidic technologies. The cell-sized reaction system can encapsulate biomolecular systems including DNAs, proteins, etc., and also realizes molecular input/output from/to exterior environments. As a result, the dynamic concentration control of a cell-sized reaction system required for autonomous molecular information processing has been achieved using this device.
