Research Abstract

This research proved Hentai-gana writing system had a distinctive function. This function was not conscious method but experiential result. If it was conscious method, original foreign words in the Jesuit Mission Press in Japan would write definite style, but in fact, there were no definite writing style in the early books, but in the latter term, it had a conscious method. In conclusion, Hentai-gana writing system derive from experiential accumulation.
