Research Abstract |
This research explores the art of trial advocacy, primarily focusing on the selection of facts to be proven and pieces of evidence to be presented in criminal trials. Based on a comparative(Japanese/American) study, this research suggests some guiding criteria in the selection, and thus shows one possible way of trial advocacy in newly implemented quasi-jury(saiban-in) criminal trials in Japan.
