Research Abstract |
Data concerning social interactions between twins, cognitive/sociocognitive abilities, and home environments were collected from 176 pairs of twins at 36 months old. Behavioral genetic analyses showed that individual differences in many aspects of social interactions between twins were mainly explained by nonshared environmental factors. Etiological relationships between social interactions and cognitive/sociocognitive abilities and those between social interactions and home environments were different depend on the aspects of social interactions.
