Research Abstract |
In this study, I have developed techniques for precise measurements of elastic wave velocities for polycrystalline sintered bodies of high-pressure phases at pressure up to 30GPa and temperature up to 1873K, equivalent to those of the upper most lower mantle, by a combination of Kawai-type multi-anvil apparatus, ultrasonic interferometry, and synchrotron radiation.
