Research Abstract |
A fixed mesh-based scheme was developed for large-deformation fluid-structure interaction, which has three features such as level-set interface representation, interface treatment using virtual particles and partitioned strong coupling algorithm of fluid variables/structural variables/level sets. It was confirmed that the developed scheme is applicable to the large-deformation FSI problems from the numerical results of unfolded airbag deployment and folded airbag deployment.
