Research Abstract |
There are three contemporary problems in the linkage design in the American cities. The first problem is development of the general open space plan (Comprehensive Open Space Plan). The second problem is a plan and maintenance of the green infrastructure (Green Infrastructure). The third problem is maintenance of the grand duke garden in the city (Great Urban Parks). These three problems are linking. In the former manufacturing cities troubled with deterioration for a long time, reproduction of the vacant land/property is a main problem of the general open space plan in the city. Implementation of the green infrastructure and development of the great urban park contribute as the pilot project in those cities.
