Research Abstract |
In this research subject, we have tried to develop the molecular sensors that enable rapid and accurate detection of cations, anions, and amino acids dissolved in aqueous media. Conventional molecular sensors hold several disadvantages such as 1) low selectivity for targeted ions, 2) long response time, and 3) weak spectral response. We developed several molecular sensors that overcome these issues based on our unique strategy for molecular design.
